Critical illness insurance product FWD Family care is a fund for the whole family and covers medical treatment costs should critical illness happens to any family members. Furthermore, FWD Family care is also a saving fund for the whole family in the future.

Key selling points of FWD Family care:

  • Protect the whole family in only one product;
  • Ensure protection for future unborn children;
  • Protect against 80 Critical illnesses til age 80 with only 10 or 15 years of payment;
  • Saving fund upon retirement and at policy maturity.
  • Entry age:

         - Main Life Assured: from 18 to 55 years old (max 2 people);

         - Additional Life Assured: from 0 to 22 years old (unlimited).

  • ​​​​​​​Premium term: 10 years or 15 years.
  • Policy term: Until main Life Assured attains 80 years old.

A. PROTECTION BENEFITS                                             

1. Early-stage Critical illness Benefit (33 diseases)

- Benefit:

  • Father or Mother (Main Life Assured): 50% Sum Assured/time (Maximum 500 million VND/time)
  • Children (Additional Life Asured): 50% Sum Assured/time (Maximum 250 million VND/time)

- Number of payouts: Unlimited times of benefit payout for different types of Critical illnesses.

2. Severe illness benefits (47 diseases)

- Benefit:

  • Father or Mother (Main Life Assured): 100% Sum Assured/time (Maximum 5 billion VND/time)
  • Children (Additional Life Assured): 100% Sum Assured/time (Maximum 2.5 billion VND/time)

- Number of payouts: Unlimited times of benefit payout for different types of Critical illnesses.

3. Death benefit

- Benefit:

  • Father or Mother (Main Life assured): 100% Sum Assured
  • Children (Additional Life assured): 50% of Sum Assured

4. Waiver of premium Benefit

FWD will continue to pay insurance premiums on behalf of the Policyholder and all benefits of this product will remain effective when one of the following benefits is paid by the FWD:

  • 2 Early-stage Critical illness of any family member; or
  • 1 Critical illness of any family member; or
  • Death of Main Life Assured.
