• ​Credit card: having the feature of “spend first, pay later” within the fixed limit that the bank approved for cardholder; with interest-free period of 45 to 55 days depending on products.
• Debit card: the card is linked with your payment account at the bank. You can use your debit card for making payment or cash withdrawal within the balance in your account. ​

​​​​​​​​Currently, Vietcombank has issued following cobranded credit card products:

• Vietcombank Vietnam Airlines American Express card: is the co-brand card with cooperation of Vietcombank and Vietnam Airlines. The Vietcombank Vietnam Airlines Platinum American Express (Platinum card) provide cardholders many outstanding benefits beside basic features of a co-brand credit card.  
• Vietcombank Vietravel Visa card: is a co-brand card between Vietcombank and Vietravel. Cardholders enjoy benefits from both Vietcombank and Vietravel.
• Saigon Centre – Takashimaya – Vietcombank Visa card: is a co-brand card of Vietcombank and Saigon Center – Takashimaya. Cardholders enjoy benefits from both Vietcombank and Saigon Center – Takashimaya.

​Apart from basic features of credit card, Vietcombank international co-branded credit cards also offers special benefits provided by Vietcombank and partners. ​​​​​​​

​You should prepare following documents:

+ For Vietnamese customers:

• Application form for international credit card for individual customer (original document).
• Copy of valid ID card/passport (original documents must be presented for verification).  
• Proofs of financial status: income proof, employment position (original document or copy depending on the type of document and customer group) and/or certification of collateral documents (original document) and/or letter of guarantee (original document)...
• Other documents per Vietcombank’s request from time to time.

+ For foreign customers: besides documents similar to Vietnamese customers, following documents need to be submitted:

• Copy of valid documents (Visa/ Temporary residence certificate/ Temporary residence card/ Residence card/ Labour contract/ Employment decision or other documents) showing that customer allowed to reside in Vietnam for at least 12 months (original documents must be presented for verification).
• Copy of work permit or labour contract showing that the remaining residence period in Vietnam of customer is at least equal to card validity + 40 days (in case the card was issued without collateral or party guaranteed) (original documents must be presented for verification).
  
• ​​​​​​​Original verification document from employer (in case the card was issued without collateral or partly guaranteed).

​+ If you are working at organizations/corporates and:

• You are receiving salary through VCB account: you do not have to provide proof of income document.
• If you do not receive salary through VCB account: you can choose one of following options:
  • Option 1: Bank statement showing your salary for at least 3 recent months (original copy with bank's seal) and Labour contract/Decision of position/Decision for salary raise/Decision of recruitment (copy).
  • Option 2: Letter of confirmation from employer (original copy, with seal of authorised representative) using bank's template.
  • Note: In case you are working for company/corporation in private sector, partnership proprietorship, private pubic service division: you're required to provide document following option 1.

+ If you are owner of a private proprietorship: You are required to provide copy of tax report of recent 3 months, copy of Business registration certificate.

+ If you are self-employed, small business owner: you are required to provide copy of tax report of the last 1 year.

​If you do not sufficient required proof of income documents, you are still able to apply for secured Vietcombank credit cards. Documents required include application form, personal document and documents as follows:

By Collateral: collateral for card issuance guaranteed:

    + Documents required:

• • Contract of pledge (original copy).
  • Document evidence for collateral as specified by the bank.​​​​​​​
    

+ Type of collateral: cash, saving book, block saving account at Vietcombank, government bond, bond of financial institution, other value document issued by Vietcombank/other banks/financial institution... 

​​​​​​​Your PIN provided by the Bank together with your credit card will be used in the case you want to withdraw cash at ATMs, therefore it should be kept secured. Your PIN is fixed and unchangeable.

​​​​​​​​Yes if your overall credit limit is still not fully utilized or you can provide documents proving your ability to cover your submitted card credit limit (income or collaterals). If you want to increase your credit limit, you can send your credit card change request and the bank will respond promptly whether your request is accepted.
