International credit cards

​+ If you are working at organizations/corporates and:

• You are receiving salary through VCB account: you do not have to provide proof of income document.
• If you do not receive salary through VCB account: you can choose one of following options:
  • Option 1: Bank statement showing your salary for at least 3 recent months (original copy with bank's seal) and Labour contract/Decision of position/Decision for salary raise/Decision of recruitment (copy).
  • Option 2: Letter of confirmation from employer (original copy, with seal of authorised representative) using bank's template.
  • Note: In case you are working for company/corporation in private sector, partnership proprietorship, private pubic service division: you're required to provide document following option 1.

+ If you are owner of a private proprietorship: You are required to provide copy of tax report of recent 3 months, copy of Business registration certificate.

+ If you are self-employed, small business owner: you are required to provide copy of tax report of the last 1 year.

​If you do not sufficient required proof of income documents, you are still able to apply for secured Vietcombank credit cards. Documents required include application form, personal document and documents as follows:

By Collateral: collateral for card issuance guaranteed:

    + Documents required:

• • Contract of pledge (original copy).
  • Document evidence for collateral as specified by the bank.​​​​​​​
    

+ Type of collateral: cash, saving book, block saving account at Vietcombank, government bond, bond of financial institution, other value document issued by Vietcombank/other banks/financial institution... 

​​​​​​​Your PIN provided by the Bank together with your credit card will be used in the case you want to withdraw cash at ATMs, therefore it should be kept secured. Your PIN is fixed and unchangeable.

​​​​​​​​Yes if your overall credit limit is still not fully utilized or you can provide documents proving your ability to cover your submitted card credit limit (income or collaterals). If you want to increase your credit limit, you can send your credit card change request and the bank will respond promptly whether your request is accepted.

• When making payment with credit card at merchants, you need to check the amount on the receipt before signing. Keep a copy of the bill/receipt. When getting back your card, you need to check to avoid getting card of other people mistakenly. Besides, never disclose your card number and the CVV number at the back of your card to anyone. 
  
• ​​​​​​​With online transaction, you should check and make payment at websites with secured payment feature (Visa Secure/Mastercard ID check/JCB Secured code/ American Express SafeKey) or trusted website with detailed information about online payment.​

• ​​​​​​​​For Vietcombank Visa Signature/ Vietcombank Mastercard World international credit card: interest free period is up to 55 days.
• For American Express international credit card: the interest free period is up to 50 days.
• For Visa/Mastercard/JCB/UnionPay international credit card: interest free period is up to 45 days. 
• ​​​​​​​For Vietcombank Visa Corporate, Vietcombank American Express Corporate card: interest free period is up to 57 days.

• When getting cash in advance from credit card at ATM, you only pay fee of 3,64% of the cash withdrawal amount (minimum of VND 45,454) at any Vietcombank’s ATMs in Vietnam.
  
• In case you withdraw cash at other bank’s ATMs, you might be charged additional fee regulated by that bank. ​

Currently, customers can pay for credit card statements by the following methods:

• Automatic debit  
• Pay via VCB Digibank on Mobile application and on web browser (for your card or another VCB cardholder’s card)
  
• Cash deposit directly at Branch / Transaction office of VCB  
• Transfer from other banks

Please note:

• For Automatic debit:

• You can request VCB to debit automatically daily or monthly.
• The automatic debit account may be the cardholder's account opened at VCB or another person's account opened at VCB (in case account holder agreed with that in written form).
• For daily automatic debit: The automatic debit amount is the whole balance.
• For monthly automatic debit: The automatic debit amount may be the minimum payment amount or the whole balance. VCB will make automatic debit deduction 01 days before proposed payment date, on proposed payment date and up to 3 times after proposed payment date.

• For payment via VCB Digibank on Mobile application and on web browser: transactions will be updated to the system on the same day if done before 18:00 and on the next day if done after 18:00. Therefore, please pay before 18:00 to request payment to enjoy the fee/interest incentive as prescribed by VCB.
• For transfer from other banks: Bank transfer information is as follows:

• Beneficiary account number: 068270301015 - Beneficiary account name: Trung gian thanh toan the.
• Or Beneficiary account number: Card account number - Beneficiary account name: Primary cardholder's name.
• Branch (if any): Tru so chinh
• Transaction amount: Not greater than the outstanding balance.
• Content: Pay for credit card statement of account number (specify card account number)

(Note: The card account number is announced on your credit card statement. Please be advised that the beneficiary account number must be Card account number, please do not use the credit card number to avoid the transaction decline)

• In addition, payment transactions via bank transfer from other banks will be updated into the system after 1-2 working days. Therefore, please make sure that you make your payment at least 1 working day prior to the Proposed payment date to allow time for interbank transaction processing.
