Yes, you can transfer from your foreign currency account via ATMs or VCB-iB@nking service or register for auto debit service to pay for your credit card outstanding balance.​​​​​​​​

At the payment proposed payment date, you can pay only the minimum amount (showing on bank statement). However, in order to avoid interest rate incurred from unpaid amount, the bank recommends customer to pay the outstanding balance shown on the statement.​​​​​​​

​If cardholders do not pay minimum required amount at the proposed payment date, late payment fee will be applied (as regulated in VCB card fees schedule). At the same time, credit card interest rate will be applied for the whole outstanding balance and new arising transactions/charges (if any). For cash withdrawal transaction, interest will be applied at the time cardholder withdrew cash with credit card.​​​​​​​

Debit payment is provided for cardholders having current account at Vietcombank. You can choose to auto debit the minimum amount or the whole amount showing on your credit card statement. Make sure your bank account have enough amount to cover the payment.​​​​​​​​

• ​If your Vietcombank credit card is lost/stolen, please immediately lock the card using VCB-iB@nking service, VCB-Mobile B@nking, sending text message to 6167 or contacting our 24/7 Vietcombank Contact Center hotline: 1900.54.54.13.
• Please be noted that you will be responsible for all transactions arised from your credit card until the Bank received information about the lost card and locked the card.

​Vietcombank credit card usually valid for 05 years. However, in case cardholder is foreigner, validity of the card can be shorter depending on the remained duration of his/her stay in Vietnam shown on his/her working permit.​​​​​​​

​The Bank does not require proof of income documents from the Supplementary cardholder because it is issued under the account of primary card.​​​​​​​

​Chip card is also called "smart card". This type of card has a chip attached on the card surface and this is the visible difference between chip cards and stripe one. Chip cards still have stripe line at the back of the card. Vietcombank issues both chip and stripe cards but most of card products are provided with chip technology because of its high security feature.​​​​​​​
