On December 29, 2020 at Caravell Saigon Hotel in Ho Chi Minh City, Joint Stock Commercial Bank For Foreign Trade of Vietnam - Ky Dong Branch (VCB Ky Dong) and BT2 Windfarm Joint Stock Company held the signing ceremony of financing agreement for BT2 Windfarm Project with capacity of 100,8MW in Quang Binh province.
Mr. Truong Anh Tuan – Director of Vietcombank Ky Dong delivered a speech at the ceremony.
Attending the signing ceremony, on the side of BT2 Windfarm Joint Stock Company, there were Mr. Patric René Clausse - Chairman of AAR and BT2 Windfarm Joint Stock Company who attended via teleconference from Philipines, Mr Nguyen Nam Thang – BOD member and General Director, Mr. Bolat Duisenov - Founding Shareholder, Mrs. Phan Cam Ly - BOD member and representatives of BT2’s executive board and all departments.
On the side of the Joint Stock Commercial Bank For Foreign Trade of Vietnam, there were Mr. Dang Hoai Duc - Deputy General Director of VCB, Head of Representative Office in the South; representatives of leaders of a number of Departments of the Head Office, Departments of the Head Office in the South and Board of Directors of Vietcombank Ky Dong.

BT2 Windfarm Joint Stock Company is a member unit of Ami AC Renewables (AAR), a joint venture unit between AMI Renewables and AC Energy - one of the members of the oldest and largest multidisciplinary corporation in the Philippines - Ayala Corporation. AAR joint venture includes the member units of Ami Khanh Hoa Energy JSC, B&T Windfarm JSC, BT1, BT2 and BT3 Windfarm JSC, operates mainly in the field of renewable energy with the goal of operating 1GW in the Vietnamese market by 2025.
The BT2 Windfarm project, under B&T WindFarm Cluster, is invested by the BT2 Windfarm Joint Stock Company in Quang Binh province with total investment of nearly 3,207 billion VND and a capacity of 100.8MW. The project is implemented by experienced domestic and international contractors. Curently, this is the onshore windfarm cluster considered to have the largest scale in Vietnam.
Mr. Nguyen Nam Thang – BOD Member / General Director of BT2 Windfarm Joint Stock Company and Mr. Truong Anh Tuan - Director of Vietcombank Ky Dong signed a financing agreement worth 2,350 billion VND for BT2 windfarm project (100.8MW) at the ceremony.
Speaking at the signing ceremony, Mr. Truong Anh Tuan - Director of Vietcombank Ky Dong affirmed: “The signing ceremony of financing agreement for BT2 Windfarm Project today is an event of special significance, not only affirming the increasingly strong business partnership between Ami AC Renewables with VCB Ky Dong Branch but also creates a premise for the opportunity of cooperation of VCB with other potential energy projects of AAR in the coming time”.
Mr. Nguyen Nam Thang – BOD Member / General Director of BT2 Windfarm Joint Stock Company expressed his thanks to the Board of Directors of Vietcombank Ky Dong and said that the signing ceremony was of great significance to the company and the signed financing agrrement was the result of non-stop efforts from both of two sides in the recent cooperation process, as a premise for development steps in the future.
