The opening ceremony of the 17th Asian Banker Summit took place in Hanoi in the morning of 11 May 2016.

At the opening session, Mr. Nghiem Xuan Thanh - Vice Chairman of Asian Bankers Association, Chairman of Vietnam Banks Association, Chairman of Board of Directors of Vietcombank together with the Prime Minister, the Governor of the State Bank of Vietnam and a number of important delegates chaired the forum for banking leaders.
At the meeting,Vietcombank as a sponsor had the honor to support the Organizing Committee to hold this important event among Asian financial and banking leaders.
